A fast-setting, fiberglass-reinforced polymer compound that enables permanent repairs to many surfaces including fiberglass, concrete, ceramic, glass, metals, wood and many plastics. It is specially formulated to adhere to surfaces exposed to damp, wet or underwater (salt or fresh) conditions. Each handy stick contains pre-measured portions of activator and base throughout – no measuring or mixing tools are necessary. It contains a fading blue dye and becomes white after mixing. The consistency (like modeling clay) eliminates drips and runs, facilitates adhesion to the substrate, and allows the material to be shaped and formed as needed before curing begins. Once cured, it can be drilled, screwed, filed, carved, sanded or painted. It will not shrink or pull away. It is resistant to water, temperature extremes, and chemicals such as hydrocarbons, ketones, alcohols, esters, halocarbons, aqueous salt solutions and dilute acids and bases.
Applications :
After proper mixing, the epoxy putty molds like clay and may be used to patch dings, scratches, cuts, gouges, and rebuild holes in fiberglass, metal, and wooden boat decks and hulls; to repair fittings, pipes, electrical connections, leaking gaskets, water tanks, fish boxes, marine recreational equipments, tubs, battery cases, sinks, spas, hot tubs, gutters, tanks, pools; to form custom gaskets. It is ideal for repairs to damp wet areas and underwater applications; cures to fiberglass white color. Suitable for interior and exterior use.
